Dr. Nikhilesh Krishnan
Dr. Nikilesh Krishna is a Consultant in Laparoscopic Bariatric and Minimal Access Gastro-Intestinal(GI) surgery at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. He completed his undergraduate and post graduate studies at Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai.
Biography
He underwent training in Advanced GI Surgery at the Govt. Royapettah Hospital in 2012. Till 2015 he worked as an Asst. Professor in the Dept of General Surgery at Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai for 2 years. He then went on to pursue his passion for Laparoscopy in Mumbai, where he completed his Fellowship in Minimal Access and Bariatric surgery from the University of Maharashtra between 2014-2015. He has had the privilege of being trained by stalwarts in the field of Bariatric surgery, Scarless Single incision laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Nikh has presented papers in various national and international conferences and also been a part of the organizing committee for various national and international conferences. He is also one of the faculty for the Bariatric fellowship and training courses conducted by BAROS and FLIP in association with Apollo Hospitals under the leadership of Dr. Raj.
