Dr. Elayaraja is the lead bariatric anesthesiologist heading the clinical team DELPHI, a group of like-minded anesthesiologists covering a wide gammette of surgical specialties. Immediately after completing his undergraduate degree in 2000, he joined his specialty under Prof. Vijayalakshmi Kmat, one of the doyne of anesthesiology and completed with vast experience in 2003. He immediately joined the National board superspecialisation for the next two years, completing his tenure in 2005.

He joined the same institute as assistant professor for the next 5 years experiencing himslef specially in minimal access, urology, obstetrics, gynecology and cardiac anesthesia.

His special interest in Minimal Access and Bariatric anaesthesia mde him purse his ambition in Apollo hospital since 2010 as a consultant joining team Delphi.

He quest to gain more knowledge on advancements in Anaesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain Management had made him complete training in critical care and pain medicine thus providing holistic care to all surgical atients from admission to discharge and further follow-ups as well. His keen interest is in teaching as well and has trained numerous junior doctors and national bard students in the fild of anesthesiology and pain medicine since 2005.

Dr. Elay also catered to various other departments such as Orthopedics, Urology, Robotic, Transplant, Surgical Gastroenterology, Otorhinolaryngology, Maxillofacial, Plastics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Minimal Access services.
